Can anyone update me on the things discussed in this thread? Namely, the exact sequence of the battle calculation phases in beta5 - is it like in the LichKing's last posted order:

1. Base strength (blessing included)
2. Negate Aura and Heroism (reduce F/M/Ch/Lead. accordingly)
3. Stack Bonus with caps
[are those still -25,30?] added to base strength
4. apply min/max unit strength cap (5,75)
5. add wall bonus
6. add swarm/terrain/anti-air
7. apply min/max unit strength cap (5,75) again.
8. apply boat cap, if on boat


or somewhat different? It looks good to me. Apart maybe from grouping anti-air with swarm and terrain whereas it actually needs (like the Sandworm's no-wall ability) a further, seperate phase. There's also the Unicorn's negate terrain ability to remember.

That was just an old theoretic discussion that didn't have effects in-game. If I'm not wrong now there are caps (-15 for max negative bonus, +30 max positive bonus), and boat cap is applied last.

I'm aware of that. I was referring to it because I'd like to know what the current battle machinations are and your way of putting it had been nice and clear.
