Yes, quite interesting map, had a little shock first time when I saw that the Eagles was on a mountain and not possible to attack by my main force!

Would prefer south west corner even if difference is small. Would be good to get statistics for each position as ground for tweaking.

The only thing I wonder about is why having the city with spiders have 3 expensive units that makes it nearly forced to plunder, and the Kraken cities with sand worms makes plunder of second city possibly to good, of when you can steel it from opponent. The main reason against cities that must be plundered is that hoarding gold makes early lucky hero offers very strong.

Spider and sea serpent let choose what expansion to do, by land or by sea. The same is with cities with Kraken and sand worm. To plunder or not is for player's thoughts, many abilities give rich choise.

Piranha, can this map be a ladder map? Could be good for FFA and 2x2 team games

It's interesting, but not balanced yet. Sea units are too powerful for/against Blue. You'll have to get rid of his swamp to balance the map.

All four corners have own terrain and the central island have own one. I do not think to change anything in this. A little advantage to flying units was when griffon was as production instead of spider, but now it\'s ok. Map is balanced for flying, sea and land units.
Many games are finished on this map and much more can be if this map will be a ladder map. Just let players to start ladder games

Igor, the map is not balanced because one player has swamp terrain. That means his whole game revolves around sea units, who can reach all the cities he needs to conquer or hold. He's practically playing on a different map than the others. If you want to keep the thematic terrain, then you'll have to find some way to isolate his original swamp so that swimmers cannot pass from it to the sea. Right now his city touching the sea is a highway to swimmers. If you back that up from the sea, or wrap land around it, you'll have no troubles.

Otherwise, it's a great map. But that's a critical balance problem that must be addressed.

LP, I see what you say about. And I saw it when 1-st version was made ;)
That's not a problem. You need practice on this map, just to feel it.
