Saved time for next turn on end turn makes delay long and boring that makes games very slow and uninteresting.
Even gold member is forced to wait.
Good premium thing, as I see it, should be do not use saved time against gold members.

Note that the average delay for the entire game still remains below the limit that you have agreed upon game start. It is quite the opposite, the feature actually speeds up the game: before the feature, I would make my turn, but then let the time expire before a busy weekend. Nowadays, thanks to this feature, I can press end turn as soon as I finished my turn, since the early end turn delays my next by the same amount. Sometimes I might even time to make my move on the busy weekend, so everyone wins.

Furthemore, such a delay occurs only once and helps to deal with unforseen one-time problems, or a busy weekend - a player that times out has no more time on his next turn.

The idea to make the time limit roll-over depending on the opponent is a bad idea, since it makes it unpredictable when your next deadline is (I don't want to check all the time whether my opponents status changes).

This feature is the conservation of time makes the game "torn." When the selected interval 2 days, if turn is made in 1 day, next one can wait for 3 days. 1 and 3 is not the same as 2 and 2.
More predictably enter the game after the certain time interval, rather than waiting the opponent with his extra delay. If someone made his turn pretty fast, but the next move should be on time anyway.
If someone can not plan your weekend to spend 30 minutes in the game, it's just his problem, he should not shift its burden to the other player.
Extra time, in my opinion, the worst thing in Warbarons.
And I would spend some credits to buy stability in the playing range. Stability and predictability.

We have 7 players of top 30, who has only 4 or less won games. And 11 (!) players of 30, who has 6 or less won games.
I do not rule out that this is largely due to the long delay. People do not want to play that way. And they do not play.
Best way how to make the game interesting is to let players by "stop adding time" feature.
And let the gold users be saved of this nuisance.

I am one of the 7 who have 4 or less won games in the top 30, and I've completed all those games within the last week. I have not seen any lagging in the 1v1 games that I've been involved with.

FFA games will always be longer, particularly if you have eight players. If an eight player game takes as long as 4 two player games, then your top 7 have the equivalent of 16 games in 1vs.1. Since most players concentrate on 1 vs. 1 or team play this is not that surprising. Players with winning records, even 3/2 have defeated many opponents. Concentrate on the number of opponents beaten instead on just the number of wins.

Igor,

This feature was requested and is enjoyed by many players. You want to eliminate it so you can gain ladder wins more frequently?

Just say so directly. That seems to be the intent, however you want to word it. I cannot personally support such a motivation.

Dear friends, my motivation is shown above. I do not like sloooow games, mostly I play 1 day delay between turns. Why? - you may ask. I answer. Because I like to open Warbarons at least once a day and make turn in all my games and I do not like to see that somebody use his additional time.
If I have "gold member" status, I must be saved of using any adding of time by opponents, only game settings delay. So, I would like to see this option (to be saved of using additional time by opponents) like a part of gold user's pocket. Or, if it is not, to buy it like additional option.

2 Smursh. I meant 1x1 ladder, only 1 opponent can be beaten in 1x1 game. I don't understand what you meant.

No one probably like to wait.
I know one team called Scandinavia, which created a team game on Central Sahara map and named this game "Team final". So this game was for us, Good guys team. We are first at the team ladder and Scandinavia is second with little point difference.
Game was started and we are going to win so fast that after 9 turns Scandinavia has almost zero chances in the game. But these cheaters made the game with 3 days between turns, they used all this time for don't let the game to get 15 or more turns before current ladder season is over. "It's computer problems" - they said. Both have such problems. I think they both are not vikings.
We are forced to wait 3 days + 1 day of additional time, and the game probably will be counted only in next ladder season for the reason of two sly cheaters, which don't surrender and don't play.
Nobody like to wait of additional time.

It seems like your biggest issue is players delaying games to manipulate their end of season rankings. All I can say is that anyone who delays a loss to help this seasons rankings will get an early loss next season.

No matter what rules are used in any game there are always players who try to manipulate them through cheap play.(In FFA games you are forced to sit on temples/bridges because players you have NAPs with will otherwise block you the same way) I don't like this, but it is a fact of life. Your best revenge here is to win your other team games and get that championship anyway, then those 'vikings' will start next season in last place.

I have heared that NAP will be modernized next season and players who have NAP will be able to attack partner's units out of cities and towers. If it is so I welcome it.

One of options of a new game is to set time period between turns. If somebody likes to think much, he may choose long delay (no for final of course!). This means nobody need additional time when he may choose a size of delay. As for me, I like 1 day delay and I don't need to wait more if I created a game with such short delay.
I count that gold memeber must have ability to be saved of using of additional time, using an option of gold member's status or using the same additional option, bought with credits.
Additional time is infringement of the abilities of gold members. This is not good for coming new gold members. And it's very bad for current gold members.

Igor,

I realize that the ladder is very important to you. You've invested a lot in it.

However, the simple issue is that the feature of extra time is a boon to the community under normal circumstances. If you are annoyed by players who take too long, then don't play games with them. Just as I wouldn't form an informal NAP with an untrustworthy player (I won't form hardcoded NAPs at all presently).

If you need more points, then play with another team. You can run your infamous Stratego and end that in 2-3 days.
