One change that has been discussed is to change ambush to take a maximum of 3 hp. I like the idea. A unit with 70 str and 5 hp, or perhaps 7 hp with that 2+ armor, shouldn't have only 32% vs a lvl 2 assa with personal ambush or only 67% to win vs a single ghost. It's insane.
As for the flying valk, I like the idea.
Other things that could be added is a expensive skill that makes a set number of non fliers fliers. Maximum of one or two, 20 pts each, roof at 3 turn units - no devils or mammoths allowed. Maybe first level could be 10 pts for one 2 turner and second level would be another 15 pts for one unit, but that it could be a 3 turner (still only one unit, only that it allows to bring a stronger one).
Or perhaps something that gives a certain change to revive units after battles? First stat is 10 pts and 10% chance to revive one unit, second is 20 pts with 20% to revive two units, third is 30 pts for 30% to revive 3 units. That's 60 pts to get a 30% chance to revive 3 random units from the stack. And only units that died in that specific battle. Shouldn't be active if valk dies and the pala on top survives.
It wouldn't be the things to go for first hand, but better than + personal str after the +stack attack is full. It always feels odd not to have anything to put points in. One of the reasons I don't use the valk so often. Anything would be a nice addition.
